Breakfast with alpacas
A unique breakfast therapy with alpacas…
Breakfast therapy with alpacas
✱ A morning walk and feeding the alpacas
At AlpaCafé we believe every morning should be full of positive energy. That is why we have prepared a unique activity for you – breakfast with alpacas. We get your day going with a short walk, leading the alpacas around the grounds. Then you will have plenty of time to feed and stroke the alpacas and create lovely memories you can capture in photos. During breakfast with alpacas we serve a special breakfast menu with fresh fruit, vegetables and a selection of freshly baked pastries. A drink from our menu is also included in the price, to enjoy with a view of our alpacas.
✱ Children up to 3 years old (inclusive) get FREE ENTRY to all our alpaca activities! Just write the number of children under 3 in the note when you make your reservation.

✱ How does this activity work?
Start your day differently – slowly, mindfully and in the company of our alpacas. Breakfast with alpacas is an experience-based therapy that combines a morning walk with these remarkable animals, calm feeding and breakfast together in our AlpaCafé bistro.
- After entering the grounds, turn right and you will find our AlpaCafé bistro. Please be on time, the activity starts at the exact scheduled time.
- Show our staff your reservation confirmation and you will be shown where the activity begins.
- The morning therapy begins with a short walk through our natural grounds, where our animal care assistants share lots of interesting facts about alpacas (and not only ours).
- Then you move to our AlpaCafé bistro, where you take a seat and the alpacas move freely among you.
- Each participant receives a small bowl with a portion of feed – give the feed slowly, in small amounts, so the alpacas can chew it more easily. The amount of feed is set in advance and approved by our vet because alpacas have sensitive digestion, so it cannot be increased. How long the feeding lasts depends mostly on you – the more calmly you enjoy the moment, the longer it lasts.
- When the feeding is over, our staff lead the alpacas to their enclosure next door, where you can watch them rest for a while. Meanwhile, you can enjoy your breakfast in peace.
✱ GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS AND VISITING WITH CHILDREN
Breakfast with alpacas offers a unique blend of movement and calm – it starts with a gentle walk, continues with feeding and ends with breakfast together. It is an ideal way to begin the day mindfully, close to nature and to animals that help you slow down.
The experience is suitable for children too, but only with an adult who keeps an eye on their behaviour. Because this is a very hands-on activity, children cannot take part on their own.
Please follow the instructions of our staff – they are there to protect you, other guests and the alpacas themselves. If any behaviour disrupts the activity or puts anyone’s safety at risk, we reserve the right to step in.
Thank you for coming to us with respect, curiosity and an open heart. That is when the most beautiful moments happen – quiet, sincere and unforgettable.
✱ What will you find on the breakfast tier stand?
Our Breakfast with alpacas is an experience for all the senses – alongside the calm time with the animals, a beautifully served, balanced menu awaits you. Our breakfasts are vegetarian as standard and prepared with care for freshness, seasonality and local ingredients. We do our best to take our visitors’ allergies and dietary needs into account, but as we have a fixed menu, we cannot offer wider alternatives at the moment. If you have any questions or other requests, don’t hesitate to contact us.
✱ A healthy start
A green snack with homemade hummus and fresh vegetables, and a variety of seasonal fruit.
✱ Crunchy & filling
A selection of freshly baked savoury and sweet pastries from our pastry buffet.
✱ A sweet finishing touch
Homemade chia pudding made with pea milk (lactose-free), with a light fruit purée and chocolate & caramel sauce.
✱ Recommended preparation before your visit
This activity takes place both outdoors and in our AlpaCafé bistro, which is semi-open, so please dress for the weather on the day. We recommend clothes and shoes that can get dirty. Sandals or open shoes are not recommended, as an alpaca might accidentally step on your foot. Like dogs, alpacas have soft pads on their feet, but their toenails can be quite sharp.
Because part of this activity takes place in the AlpaCafé bistro, it goes ahead even in bad weather. If it rains, the walk may be cancelled – but you will have all the more time with the alpacas indoors while feeding them. The bistro is heated in the winter months, but we still recommend dressing warmly, as you may feel cold. In summer, we recommend bringing a hat and sunglasses and wearing sunscreen.
